Gabby Morris is a visual artist working across sculpture, ceramics, painting and writing.

Her practice explores the relationships between self, material and place: how bodies and landscapes carry experience, how things fragment and reform, and what materials can reveal when they are allowed to resist control.

Her work moves between personal and ecological territories, from grief, memory and the unstable self to soil, rural landscapes, industrial traces and more-than-human lives. Rather than treating these as separate subjects, Morris is interested in the ways they meet through pressure, change, loss, adaptation and making.

A background in product design, geography, futures and place-based research continues to shape how she works. Fieldwork, mapping, observation, collecting and systems thinking sit alongside more instinctive and embodied forms of making.

Her design and consultancy practice operates separately through Feeldwork, while her artistic practice takes some of those ways of looking and allows them to become more personal, material and unresolved.
