Climate Change.
Sea Change is a socially engaged art project exploring how coastal towns like Buckie can meet the challenges of climate change and is a multi-year, action-research project running until June 2027. Working for Culture for Climate Scotland as the Buckie Town Artist to bring this project to life through multiple creative and future led activities and conversations.
What has happened?This has included a range of different community activities including; Mud Clubs, More-than-Human lino cutting, Seaweed Printmaking workshops with Macduff Aquarium, a Whale day with the Whale and Dolphin Centre, engaging young people in their coastlines, Mural workshops & designs… and more. This project is ongoing and in the final year which will lead to a Just Transition plan for the Buckie community.
